Your plant observations make a difference. You can help improve the Wildflower Search website. Here is how this works.
Use a Wildflower Search mobile app to identify plants in one of your favorite natural areas. Record what you saw using the app to make a plant list. Then send that plant list to this website with a push of button. Log in to this website, describe the location you were at and connect your plant list to that location. Your data will be incorporated into the Wildflower Search website.
When someone uses the Wildflower Search website and specifies a location that has a plant list, the species in the plantlist are pushed towards the top of the search results making it easier for people to find them.
The plant data that you collect is also available for others to use.

You can explore the plant lists in this website. Use this button to start exploring. Click on the marker to discover the location name. Then click on the link to see the plant lists at that location.

Use your Google email address.
Designing a login system takes lots of time. We would rather spend that time on other projects. This website uses the Google App Engine and, for now, we are using their login service.
What if I don't have a Google account? Go ahead and click on the Log In button.
Google will give you the option of creating a Google account. You can use that
account just for this website.
